Our process, step by step

Before each forecast, we run a tailored checklist: note drains, stage salt, and pair operators to zones. Dispatch watch pavement temps and adjust routes as the sky changes.

When flakes start, operators move with pre-set service plans. Edge guards stay conservative near curbs to avoid damage. Foot teams fan out to walkways and work in sync with plows so staff stay unhindered.

Through multi-day systems, we cycle priority areas on rotating cadence. Melt is refreshed where shade invite refreeze. Teams capture proof each visit so you see exactly what was cleared.

Once accumulation stops, we run a closure pass to clean edges, treat slick spots, and deliver a recap with time stamps and next steps. If wind will drift, we set a proactive touch to block black ice.

Safety and compliance

Safety drives our playbook. All team leads preps on equipment care, ADA access, and line-of-sight around delivery staff. We use cone lines in low light and maintain two-way comms in case networks lag.

County codes shape our service cadence. We block drain burial and leave curb cuts ready. Abrasive mixes align with foot traffic so grip stays reliable without runoff.

Insurance partners prefer us because photos deliver with timestamps, geo tags, and service notes. Should you request COIs, we provide them fast and refresh them each season.

Service area highlights

We operate across Socorro County NM with regional pods so response stays fast. Downtown cores get entry-focused support, while industrial parks see wide-lane plowing patterns that reduce wheel spin.

Schools get special attention for priority ramps. Mixed-use blocks benefit from pre-dawn coverage so guest hours keep flowing. Gated communities can opt into cul-de-sac clearance with logged passes.

We map sun/shade and adapt visit cadence for each micro-zone. That focus keeps clean entries even when temps swing.

The county was formed in 1852 as one of the original nine counties of New Mexico Territory. Socorro was originally the name given to a Native American village (see: Puebloan peoples) by Don Juan de Oñate in 1598. Having received vitally needed food and assistance from the native population, Oñate named the pueblo Socorro ("succor" in English).
