Our process, step by step

Prior to snowfall, we complete a site-specific checklist: map hazards, prep melt, and assign crews to zones. Dispatch watch pavement temps and adjust routes hourly.

When ice threatens, crew leads roll out with pre-set service plans. Blade settings stay conservative near landscaping to guard your investment. Foot teams fan out to walkways and align with plows so staff move freely.

Through multi-day systems, we re-pass priority areas every 60-90 minutes. Melt is refreshed where wind tunnels invite refreeze. We log proof each visit so you verify exactly what was cleared.

Once accumulation stops, we perform a final sweep to clean edges, melt stragglers, and deliver a recap with time stamps and next steps. If temps will drop, we schedule a preventive return to block black ice.

Safety and compliance

Safety anchors our crews. Every operator preps on melt chemistry, ADA access, and line-of-sight around pedestrians. We use cone lines in wind and keep backup radios in case cell coverage dips.

County codes guide our pile placement. We block sightline loss and leave curb cuts ready. Abrasive mixes align with pavement temps so traction stays high without overuse.

Insurance partners prefer us because photos deliver with timestamps, locations, and service notes. Should you request certificates, we provide them fast and refresh them each season.

Service area highlights

We cover Sheridan County ND with regional pods so windows stay short. Main corridors get pedestrian-focused support, while industrial parks see wide-lane plays that reduce wheel spin.

Schools receive special attention for priority ramps. Retail centers see pre-dawn coverage so open hours keep flowing. HOAs can request sidewalk care with logged passes.

We map sun/shade and adjust visit cadence for each micro-zone. That focus sustains clean entries even when temps swing.

The Dakota Territory legislature created the county on January 4, 1873, naming it for Civil War General Philip Henry Sheridan. The county organization was not completed at that time, but the new county was not attached to another county for administrative or judicial purposes. In 1883 and again in 1887, the county boundaries were reduced, and on November 8, 1892, the county was dissolved, its remaining territory assigned to McLean. This lasted until the November 3, 1908 election, when McLean County voters chose to partition off the eastern portion of that unit into a new county, although the new boundaries were somewhat different from the former Sheridan. The new county government was effected on December 24 of that year.
