Our process, step by step

Before each forecast, we run a tailored checklist: note drains, stage salt, and assign crews to sections. Coordinators monitor live radar and adjust routes hourly.

When flakes start, crew leads roll out with pre-set service plans. Edge guards stay conservative near landscaping to guard your investment. Foot teams fan out to entries and work in sync with plows so cars move freely.

During long events, we cycle critical areas on rotating cadence. Salt is topped where shade invite refreeze. Teams capture photos every round so you verify exactly what was cleared.

Once accumulation stops, we perform a closure pass to push back piles, treat slick spots, and deliver a recap with time stamps and follow-up plan. If wind will drift, we schedule a preventive touch to guard against black ice.

Safety and compliance

Safety drives our playbook. Every operator trains on melt chemistry, ADA access, and line-of-sight around pedestrians. We use cone lines in low light and maintain backup radios in case cell coverage dips.

City codes shape our pile placement. We avoid sightline loss and keep ADA ramps open. Abrasive mixes match foot traffic so traction stays high without runoff.

Compliance officers value us because logs arrive with timestamps, geo tags, and crew signatures. If you need COIs, we provide them fast and refresh them each season.

Community clients appreciate considerate dawn passes that respect neighbors. We sweep side doors and de-ice walks so guests move safely.

Maintenance and prevention

Cascade Locks is a city in Hood River County, Oregon, United States. The city got its name from a set of locks built to improve navigation past the Cascades Rapids of the Columbia River. The U.S. federal government approved the plan for the locks in 1875, construction began in 1878, and the locks were completed on November 5, 1896. The locks were subsequently submerged in 1938, replaced by Bonneville Lock and Dam, although the city did not lose land from the expansion of Lake Bonneville behind the dam some 4 miles (6 km) downstream of the city. The city population was 1,144 at the 2010 census.
